How does skin treatment work here?

Diagnose, then choose the laser.

Skin treatment at The Boom begins with a diagnosis, because the same-looking problem can have different causes. Pigment lasers precisely target melanin for melasma, freckles and dark spots, while redness lasers selectively shrink dilated vessels for flushing and rosacea. Our acne program goes beyond extraction to address sebum, inflammation and bacteria so breakouts return less often, and pore and scar care uses collagen remodeling to fill depressions. Tattoo removal uses picosecond-class lasers staged across sessions to protect the skin. Settings are adjusted for darker skin to avoid pigment changes, and a realistic number of sessions is agreed before you start.

Skin questions

Frequently asked questions.

How many sessions for pigment or melasma?
Toning programs usually need 5–10 sessions at 1–2 week intervals. Melasma is managed long-term rather than cured in one course.
Does acne treatment stop breakouts coming back?
Our program treats the causes — excess sebum, inflammation and bacteria — to lower recurrence, combined with home care and prescriptions.
How many sessions to remove a tattoo?
Usually 5–10 sessions at 4-week intervals, depending on ink color and depth. Color tattoos take more sessions.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
It targets the growth phase of follicles, so a course of 5+ sessions gives long-term reduction.
Are skin lasers safe for darker skin?
Yes, with adjusted settings. We use lower energy and longer intervals to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Do you offer English skin consultations?
Yes. Send close-up photos in natural light and we will recommend a program in English.
